Though not commonly known because of the publicly approaches of the traders, every consumer, which commonly means every person in the society and the citizens who buy products not for any further commercial use but for ultimate consumption, have some rights of their own. Those rights are protected by the state through some specific laws, rules and regulations and are called Consumer Rights.

As variety of products have flooded the market. There are also a number of services including insurance, transport, banking, etc. Companies spend a lot of money on advertising their products through television, newspapers and magazines. The consumers get confused and do not know the real information he needs about the product.  Need that consumer should be aware of not only the commercial aspects but of the health and-safety aspects also. To make the consumers aware about the precautions that they should take before buying anything from the market a consumer awareness camp program was initiated.

We, the best Indian NGO for Consumer Rights have organized Consumers Awareness programme at different parts of Kolkata , Barasat , North 24 Pngs district with & without grant of Govt. Consumers Department .  

The overall objectives of the Consumers Awareness programme  were to raise consumer awareness at the grassroots by strengthening the capacity of net-workers in West Bengal ; and  build a strong consumer movement at the grassroots level in West Bengal.
