Wetland Protection & Tree Plantation Drive in West Bengal , India.

On March 24, 2026, Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission successfully continued its Wetland Protection and Tree Plantation Drive across the riverbanks and wetland-adjacent areas of West Bengal. The initiative focused on planting native and fruit-bearing trees, including mango saplings, to restore ecological balance and strengthen natural barriers against soil erosion.

This ongoing environmental effort aims to conserve biodiversity, protect fragile wetland ecosystems, and support sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
