Providing Safe Bird Shelters and Protecting Wildlife India

On 9th August 2026, Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission successfully organized another edition of its “Back to Nest” Bird Nest Initiative, an environmental welfare program dedicated to protecting birds and supporting urban biodiversity. Rapid urbanization, deforestation, and the loss of green spaces are reducing the natural habitats available to birds, making it increasingly difficult for them to find safe places to rest, nest, and raise their young. As part of the initiative, eco-friendly bird nests were installed on suitable trees to provide safe and sustainable shelter. With the active participation of our members and volunteers, the program was carried out with care, compassion, and a strong commitment to creating a bird-friendly environment.

The Back to Nest initiative reflects Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental conservation and encourage communities to protect vulnerable wildlife.
