Why Entrepreneurship & Business Skill Development ?

India, with its burgeoning youth population and dynamic market environment, stands at the cusp of economic transformation. However, the potential of its demographic dividend remains underutilized due to a lack of adequate entrepreneurship and business skills. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2022-23 report reveals that India’s Total Early-Stage Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) rate is 16.3%, indicating a substantial need for structured entrepreneurship programs.

Our Program in brief

At Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission, a top-ranked NGO for Entrepreneurship and Business Skill Development, our Entrepreneurship Skill Development Institute Program empowers candidates, especially women from villages in West Bengal, by generating business awareness, upgrading skills, providing business mentoring, creating market linkages, implementing e-commerce interventions, conducting research, assisting with product selection, offering training, organizing exposure visits, and delivering comprehensive business support to help them start their own businesses and earn a respectable livelihood in their communities.
