Skill Development
- Project Status: Ongoing
Why Skill development
Skill development training is crucial for women-centric micro enterprises, rural youth enterprises, startups, SHGs enterprises, and micro enterprise management, particularly in digital marketing. Statistics show that women-owned businesses represent 13.76% of the total 58.5 million businesses in India, yet they face significant skill gaps and financial constraints. In rural areas, youth unemployment is alarmingly high at 17.7%, underscoring the need for entrepreneurial skills. Training programs can bridge these gaps, fostering economic independence and sustainable growth. Digital marketing skills, in particular, can expand market reach, evidenced by the 36% annual growth rate in India’s e-commerce sector.
