Community Tree Plantation Program Update: Mango Trees Planted for Climate Action and Livelihoods

Bhartiya Jana Seva Mission, recognized as India’s leading community tree planting NGO, proudly organized another impactful Community Tree Plantation Program on March 16, 2025, in the village of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. This regular initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to combating climate change, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing local livelihoods through community-driven efforts.

This time, our focus was on planting mango trees, a species known for its environmental and economic benefits. Mango trees not only help in carbon sequestration but also provide shade, fruits, and long-term livelihood opportunities for rural communities.

We extend our sincere thanks to our generous donors, whose unwavering support continues to drive our initiatives forward. Their contributions enable us to organize such meaningful programs and make a lasting impact.

As India’s top community tree planting NGO, Bhartiya Jana Seva Mission remains committed to scaling up such initiatives across the country. Our programs are designed to empower communities, protect the environment, and promote sustainable livelihoods. We believe that collective action is key to addressing global challenges like climate change, and we are proud to lead by example.
