Empowering Communities: Mango Tree Plantation for Livelihoods & Climate Action

On 16th February 2025, Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission , a leading Community tree Plantation NGO in India , organized a Community Tree Plantation Program at the Indo-Bangladesh Border side area in North 24 Parganas District, West Bengal, India . As part of our commitment to climate change action and sustainable livelihoods, we planted Mango trees, which will provide long-term economic benefits to local communities while enhancing environmental sustainability.

A significant highlight of the program was the enthusiastic participation of women from underprivileged communities, reinforcing our mission to empower them through environmental and livelihood-based initiatives. By integrating tree plantation with income-generating opportunities, we aim to create a self-sustaining ecosystem that supports rural households while mitigating climate change effects.
