Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission’s Ongoing Tree Plantation Initiative

Community Tree Plantation Drive: Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission’s Ongoing Efforts in Climate Action & Sustainable Livelihoods.

On 23rd March 2025, Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission, one of India’s leading tree-planting NGOs, successfully conducted a Mango Tree Plantation Drive in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India . This initiative is part of our ongoing afforestation program, aimed at combating climate change while supporting rural livelihoods.

Tree Plantation for Environmental and Economic Impact

Our tree plantation drives are not just about increasing green cover; they are a step towards climate resilience and economic empowerment. Mango trees provide shade, improve soil health, reduce carbon footprint, and contribute to biodiversity conservation. Additionally, they offer long-term income opportunities for farmers and local communities by yielding fruits that can be sold in markets.

A Regular Program for a Sustainable Future

Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission has been actively engaged in tree plantation initiatives across India, with a strong focus on sustainability and community involvement. As part of our goal to plant 1 lakh trees in 2025, we are continuously working towards creating eco-friendly solutions that uplift marginalized communities while preserving nature.
