Aranya Saptaha 2025- A Week of Green Action by Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission

Bharatiya Jana Seva Mission successfully organized the Aranya Saptaha 2025 celebration from 14th to 20th July 2025, continuing its annual tradition of promoting environmental sustainability. The week-long program was conducted in associated with Madhyamgram Police Station, focusing on tree plantation activities across key urban areas of North 24 Parganas District, West Bengal.
Key Activities of Aranya Saptaha 2025 – Forest Week” or “Jungle Week”:
- Plantation of a variety of indigenous and environment-friendly tree species
- Community participation involving local residents, youth volunteers, and school children
- Awareness sessions on the importance of afforestation and ecological balance
- Support and coordination with local police officials for smooth execution
